IMPLEMENT EDUCATION PROJECTS IN VIETNAM
For the purpose of upgrading human resource in 3 sectors in Viet Nam: education, business and public administration; G-BI and Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) have come together and officially signed an MOA on 27 July 2011 after thorough discussions to implement the following projects:
1. INTERNATIONAL LECTURER DEVELOPMENT (PROJECT 1):
WORLD-CLASS LECTURERS FOR 21ST CENTURY POST SECONDARY
2. INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (PROJECT 2):
MULTI-DIMENSIONAL EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND OPERATIONAL
EXCELLENCE FOR 21ST CENTURY POST SECONDARY EDUCATION
3. ASIA PACIFIC BUSINESS LEADERS & MANAGERS DEVELOPMENT (PROJECT 3)
WORLD-CLASS LEADERS AND MANAGERS FOR 21ST CENTURY BUSINESS
4. ASIA PACIFIC PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION TRAINING (PROJECT 4):
INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC ADMINSTRATION FOR the 21st CENTURY
This cooperation marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between the two parties. This event has a special meaning as it brings to participants the opportunity to learn advanced programs from a reputable University in Canada. For the first few batches, special introductory fees applied to Vietnamese participants.
Kwantlen Polytechnic University, has four campuses located in South Fraser of British Columbia.
KPU was split up from Douglas Collegeby the government of British Columbia in 1981. KPU is viewed as a reputable public University in Canada. For 5 years consecutively KPU is rated as “Top Employer” at British Columbia, and attracted top personnel and professors to work at the University. About18,000students annually attend Kwantlen study courses taught by world class lecturers and professors.Research shows that 87% of graduates from KPU find work within 4 months of graduating.
